A radiator leak, a wheel nut and a Scania 660S V8's first real fault
Trucker Tim's newest vlog drew close to 130,000 views on its first day, and his viewers spent it diagnosing the truck in the comments.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
MY SCANIA 660S V8 HAS ITS FIRST MAJOR PROBLEM!!
Trucker Tim's Scania 660S V8 is the truck that mostly travels to shows, and this week it finally gave him something to fix. "MY SCANIA 660S V8 HAS ITS FIRST MAJOR PROBLEM!!" went up on Tuesday and is the busiest thing on the channel, past 150,000 views in three days.
The comment section turned into a workshop. Scania technicians and fitters chimed in about radiators, one from the Netherlands saying his shop changes them almost weekly and another explaining how the plastic side comes away from the aluminum. Others offered cheaper parts suppliers, and one of the most liked comments points out that before any of that, the first real problem was a wheel nut. Ben turns up too, and viewers enjoyed the look he gives Tim while calling it only a little leak.
The road ahead is Drifterstyle, and several viewers are already planning to be there with cameras, while others gently note that the show is in Northern Ireland. A live stream with Mister Power Tim followed a day later, and last week's Peterbilt circus move, loud jake brake included, is still finding viewers.
The channel ran right at its usual pace and added about a thousand subscribers. Among the cars and motoring channels nearest its size, The Electric Viking had the biggest week, while Burlacher was the quiet one.
