Virgin Radio UK's week had room for Hollywood guests, Manchester music and a new travel-minded radio show. Across fifteen uploads, the channel added roughly 1.6 million views, while daily viewing stayed close to its usual level and subscribers grew modestly.

Chris Evans's TFI Friday Unplugged brought Steve Buscemi, Josh Brolin, Luke Evans, Hugh Bonneville and Craig Revel Horwood into the guest lineup, alongside stars of Saturday Night Live UK. The Charlatans supplied the music. Buscemi's distinctive screen career stretches from Reservoir Dogs to Boardwalk Empire; Brolin's includes both No Country for Old Men and Marvel's Thanos. That is quite a range of film conversation for one desk.

The TFI episode is currently drawing the most daily views, but the week's largest new audience belongs to the launch clip for Stuart Elmore's Music Destinations, with about 82,000 views. The segment is a paid partnership with Airbnb. Its description places Razorlight and Jack Savoretti alongside Elmore for an exploration of "The Capital," its local spots and music.

Among nearby music channels, Music Vault and TommyLeeSpartaVEVO had particularly substantial weeks for viewing. Virgin Radio's own week was more regular than explosive, despite the crowded guest list.

Away from the desk, Emma B interviewed Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight about Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger. The conversation covers Liam and Noel Gallagher returning to the rehearsal room, filming the tour without getting in its way, and the documentary's Venice premiere. A separate short excerpt gives Knight's emotional response to making the film its own space.
