Lambeau's visiting locker room gets the "backrooms" treatment

The Packers Away Team Locker Room Is ABSOLUTE Nightmare Fuel

The welcome is limited. Whistle's look at Lambeau Field takes the visiting team's route through a narrow hallway and into a locker room that its presenter compares to a horror-movie setting.

The Short drew roughly 37,000 views in its first day, more than ten times Whistle's usual Shorts start. Its hook isn't a touchdown or a famous player's arrival, but the spaces opponents pass through before reaching the field.

"It looks like the backrooms," the presenter says of the corridor, invoking the internet's eerie maze of anonymous rooms. He then jokes that the visitors' locker room looks unchanged since Bart Starr played quarterback, before cutting to the Packers' sleek home locker room. That is a comic comparison, not a renovation history.

The closing question is whether those surroundings give Green Bay a psychological edge. Viewers pick up that argument: several describe basic visiting facilities as normal across professional sports, while others wonder why even newer stadiums leave so little room for opponents. One takes the discussion somewhere more practical, asking how locker rooms are assigned at a Super Bowl.

Another viewer sees something beyond the decor: the generations of football legends who have walked those same hallways.

Most pro facilities have the bare minimum in the visitors locker rooms. Look around. Its not just the NFL. NBA MLB most pro sports do it.

I still don't understand why even new NFL stadiums are built with lockers the size of high school locker rooms

There must be advantages to "home field advantage".
