William Osman 2: "the white house sent me 2 letters"

The new upload names TheBackyardScientist in its description, following the channel's earlier fish-themed video.

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 341,629 views a day, 6.9 times a normal day (49,531).

William Osman 2 usually adds around 50,000 views a day. This time, the channel added roughly 342,000, with a rather unusual piece of correspondence heading its recent uploads.

The title is "the white house sent me 2 letters", posted on Monday. Its description offers just one further clue: @TheBackyardScientist. That puts a familiar creator's name beside the new upload after the earlier "we need to talk about this guy's fish", which we covered here.

The letters video is approaching 300,000 views, though that total is not the same thing as the channel's daily gain. There is also a substantial September project in the back catalog: "Pro's wanted $20,000 so I did it myself" already sits among William Osman 2's most-watched regular uploads.
