Woodworking Studio finds another use for the scrap pile
Two new uploads explore discarded timber, with viewers bringing craft-fair experience and unfinished-project jokes into the conversation.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Millions of People Overlook This Brilliant ScrapWood ldea!
Woodworking Studio posted two variations on a familiar workshop question: what is worth keeping when the cutting is done? Both new videos put leftover wood at the center, with titles promising overlooked ideas and potential earnings rather than another trip to buy lumber.
The Friday upload, "Millions of People Overlook This Brilliant ScrapWood ldea!", drew the larger new audience, reaching roughly 12,000 views. In the replies, one viewer connects the premise to making small scrap-wood pieces for craft fairs. Another supplies the more domestic version of the story: the family sees junk, while the maker sees a future project waiting for procrastination to end. The scrap pile apparently has its own public relations problem.
Tuesday's "How I Made Thousands of Dollars from Discarded Wood Scraps" attracted a smaller audience. The earnings are the creator's claim in the title, but the shared theme is clear: finding value in material that might otherwise be thrown away. An earlier upload on that same subject, "Most Carpenters Miss Out on the Chance to Earn Thousands of Dollars from These Wood Scraps", remains the channel's busiest video by daily views and is approaching 100,000 views overall.
Subscribers held steady, while today's viewing is running above the channel's usual daily pace. Among nearby DIY and home channels, Acres Lawn Care and Blooms&Greens by Chloe had substantially larger weeks for views; Woodworking Studio drew more weekly viewing than TAOW and XO, MaCenna Vlogs. Here, the ongoing draw is distinctly smaller-scale: the offcuts, not the big boards.

My family calls it junk. I call it a future project waiting for me to stop procrastinating! 😅
@GeniusToolsDIYSee it on YouTubeSuch a brilliant idea, no need for big boards or fancy machines, just scrap and a bit of creativity and you've got something everyone wants to buy. I make small bits from scrap for craft fairs and customers love them, the money really is in what people overlook!🤣🤣🤣
