Views jump 11x the channel's usual pace

Working Class Patriot draws seven million views in a day

The clips channel's sharp rise comes alongside uploads about British farming and policing, but no single recent post explains its scale.

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 7,126,709 views a day, 12 times a normal day (619,908).

A warning about British farming from Rupert Lowe is among Working Class Patriot's latest uploads, arriving alongside a much larger burst of viewing across the clips channel.

Daily views reached roughly seven million, more than eleven times its usual pace. That is a channel-wide jump, not the audience for Lowe's clip, which has attracted a few thousand views since its October 15 posting.

The upload's title, "Rupert Lowe MP, British farming is on the brink of total collapse.", presents the politician's warning. It sits beside the cryptically titled "Listen to me." and recent clips labeled around Doncaster, a political confrontation and police in Paris.

Of those listed recent uploads, "Doncaster woman finds....." has the largest audience. Even that video's total is only a small fraction of the channel's daily surge, leaving the source of the wider jump unclear.
