Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer

A recorded prison call brings Lucia Caminos into Jason's day at the marina. Before the police chases and helicopter stunts arrive, Grand Theft Auto VI's launch trailer gives its central pair something more personal to contend with: getting through trouble together.

Posted on XBOX's official channel, "Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer" reached nearly 780,000 views in seven hours, a much faster start than the channel's usual short uploads. This is a cinematic promotional trailer for Rockstar's game, rather than a gameplay walkthrough.

The setup is an easy score gone wrong, drawing Jason and Lucia into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. The trailer cuts from sunlit Vice City scenery to swamp operations, robberies and motorcycle jumps. Amid that rush, Lucia asks, "Are we going to be okay?" Jason's answer brings the focus back to their partnership.

The music has a notable name behind it, too. The description credits French electronic duo Justice with both the new music featured here and the game's original score.

In the comments, viewers are counting down to release and asking whether the game could support XBOX Play Anywhere. Those requests are wishes, not an announcement. The trailer's closing screen does confirm November 19, 2026, and Xbox Series X|S.
