French toast and missing keys fill Apple's HomeView morning

The household commercial has reached roughly 6.8 million views during a week without new Apple uploads.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Breakfast is underway, a ride has been canceled, and the grandparents are calling at an inconvenient moment. Apple's HomeView launch commercial puts its smart display through a scripted family morning rather than a tidy demonstration on an empty countertop.

The father asks for a French toast recipe, then interrupts cooking to ask whether French toast is actually French. Elsewhere, the mother uses Find My to locate her keys. A quieter demonstration comes when Bruno tries to open Harper's messages: the display locks him out. Personalization gets a less glamorous but more recognizable purpose here, keeping someone else out of your conversation.

Apple posted nothing new this week. HomeView nevertheless draws the most daily views of its currently active videos, followed by the Apple TV 4K launch commercial and "Shot on iPhone 18 Pro: "new trick" by ROSÉ". That last upload brings a different sort of household name: the BLACKPINK singer, with Dave Meyers directing the music video featured in Apple's camera showcase.

The subscriber count held steady at about 21 million, the largest audience among the neighboring technology-company channels. Duolingo and Google Chrome had substantial weekly viewing gains, while Apple Support's daily viewing was well above its usual pace.

For Apple's main channel, the freshest activity remains with the home lineup. HomeView's morning rush eventually clears, leaving the father to discover that the evening calendar includes couples ice skating.
