Laptop tabs travel by phone in Google Chrome's latest batch
Five new promotional uploads pair cross-device browsing with fashion and Chrome's security claims.

Leave the laptop; take the content.
Google Chrome posted five videos, trading the Unfinished Projects spotlight for smaller, everyday browsing pitches. The clearest is "Leave the laptop; take the content.": a promotion for syncing tabs from a laptop to a phone, so the browsing can continue without bringing the computer along.
"Two simple steps" drew the largest audience of the new uploads, reaching about 5,000 views. It also has the strongest daily momentum among the channel's currently active videos. The fashion-themed "Talk about browsing for a new style. 👗" joins it, while two security-expert uploads present Google's claim that Chrome blocks millions of attacks or scams daily.
Those modest new-release audiences sit beside a much larger channel-wide week: roughly 17 million additional views, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is above its usual level. Among nearby technology channels, Google for Developers and Apple Support are also seeing elevated daily viewing, while Boston Dynamics is having a slower day than usual.
There is a small link back to Chrome's earlier creative campaign, too. Joe Burrow's Unfinished Project about a playable, art-minded chess set remains among the uploads drawing the most daily views. The browsing tips have arrived, but the chessboard hasn't quite been packed away.
