The billion is crossed. Athletes Club has passed a billion total views, with a Steph Curry Short supplying the standout moment among its seven new uploads.

"Curry was in Disbelief 😭 #shorts #nba #basketball" has reached about 3.2 million views. The basketball clips channel's biggest new upload is also, by a considerable margin, its busiest video right now. Curry's reputation as a shooter gives the premise its humor: when someone that accurate looks puzzled, viewers start questioning the equipment.

Several commenters suggest the rim was misaligned, though their explanations differ and aren't confirmation of what happened. Others take the joke further, proposing a tiny shift in Earth's axis or invoking the Monstars from Space Jam. The conversation is as much about the expectations attached to Curry as it is about missed shots.

Elsewhere, "Why NBA Players wear New Shoes Every Game! #shorts #nba #basketball" turns to footwear, while "The Ball got Stuck 😂 #shorts #nba #basketball" offers another basketball oddity. The newer "Glitches in the NBA?! #shorts #nba #basketball" currently has the most daily activity after Curry, with the shoe explainer next.

The subscriber audience grew modestly over the week, and current daily viewing is a little above the channel's usual pace. Nearby sports channels ZedBall and MTN Hoops had much larger viewing weeks; Athletes Club's weekly audience was closer to DraftKings'. Here, the distinctive draw was simpler: a great shooter looking disbelieving, and viewers happily supplying explanations.
