BarleyTheBurr asks if Vanillamace has room for another viewer

A viewer's request to switch streams becomes a personal check-in, and the week-old clip is getting a fresh burst of views.

Why this story? The video is running at 229,231 views a day, 5.9 times its usual pace (39,149).

I asked Vanillamace THIS… 🤣

Watching another streamer apparently requires a little coordination in BarleyTheBurr's chat. When a viewer asks permission to go watch Vanillamace, Barley treats it less like opening another tab and more like arranging a visit.

"I'm going to go ask Vanilla if she has the room for you right now," he says, reaching for his phone. "You might be intruding. I'm texting her right now."

The clip, "I asked Vanillamace THIS… 🤣", has added about 230,000 views in a day, nearly six times its usual daily pace. Published eight days ago, it is drawing attention well beyond its opening day.

The joke gets both sides of the conversation. Behind Barley, a friend laughs and wonders whether Vanillamace is even streaming. After a "A FEW MOMENTS LATER" title card, the edit cuts to her checking her phone live. She reads out his message asking whether she has room, then bursts out laughing.

In the comments, viewers compare Barley's approach to a parent checking whether someone can spend the day at the neighbor's house. Others pick out his decision to consult the other streamer at all: a simple change of viewing plans has become a matter of host-to-host etiquette.
