He finally made the switch. In "Meet My New Carry Gun," Colion Noir introduces the Springfield Echelon Pro as his replacement for the regular Echelon Compact, after an earlier proposed change never quite happened.
His hesitation had been about porting: he says the noise and concussion, particularly with the firearm held close, had kept him with his existing model. This time, the grip texture, two grip options and flared magazine well helped settle the decision. The introduction drew roughly 299,000 views, with a separate upload carrying the same title also finding an audience.
That personal equipment update sat within fifteen uploads, and the week's largest new audience went to his Shreveport shooting commentary. The October 11 upload approached 930,000 views. It is sponsored by Nosler. Noir uses the reported attack on an Uber driver to argue against magazine limits, while explicitly noting that the reporting does not say the driver used an FRT. A later upload with the same title is currently bringing in the most daily views on the channel.
Federal regulation supplied another active thread: his response to The Anti Fudd Club agrees with her criticism of firearms regulation but disputes her view that gun owners are celebrating the wrong thing.
Subscribers increased over the week, and daily channel views are running at more than twice their usual level. Kentucky Ballistics and Forgotten Weapons also had substantial weekly audiences. For Noir, the busy schedule extended to a new Bend school-shooting response that connects the reported intervention to his earlier classroom-door testing.
