Dave2D's iPhone Duo review brings Fold 8 into the picture

The new "Apple Knows Best" review moves beyond first impressions, arriving alongside a sharp rise in daily channel views.

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 681,220 views a day, 7.7 times a normal day (88,796).

Dave Lee has moved from first impressions to a review of the iPhone Duo, with two reference points: the Fold 8 and Apple's own iPhone 18 Pro Max. The title, "iPhone Duo Review - "Apple Knows Best"," puts Apple's judgment at the center of the pitch.

That is a new chapter for Dave2D's coverage. As we reported here, his earlier Duo impressions were still drawing attention well after publication. The review has reached nearly 700,000 views since arriving two days ago.

Across the channel, daily views have climbed to almost eight times their usual pace. That is a channel-wide rise, not a count belonging to the Duo review alone.

The review also follows September's "iPhone 18 Pro Max Review - Apple's Hyping The Wrong Thing." This time, the Pro Max is part of the comparison rather than the sole subject, giving Dave2D's Apple coverage a direct connection between the two phones.
