Aku and The Lich give DEATH BATTLE! a villainous detour

Aku VS The Lich | ( Samurai Jack VS Adventure Time ) | DEATH BATTLE CAST

DEATH BATTLE! added a cartoon-villain debate to a week otherwise occupied by the considerable question of Saitama's strength. "Aku VS The Lich | ( Samurai Jack VS Adventure Time ) | DEATH BATTLE CAST" brings Samurai Jack's shape-shifting antagonist into the same conversation as Adventure Time's embodiment of extinction. Subtle company, these two are not.

Billed as the second week of Skeletober, the Cast upload was the smaller of two new releases. "Saitama is STRONGER than you think! ...Yes, really!" approached 930,000 views and remains the channel's busiest video by daily views. Its description puts the emphasis on potential, a particularly loaded word for One Punch Man's famously overwhelming hero.

The comments are looking beyond the strength argument itself. Viewers invoke the show's Goku-Superman episodes and imagine another sprawling comment-section debate. Meanwhile, "The TRUTH about Goku in DEATH BATTLE" continues drawing viewers with its question about whether Dragon Ball's hero is a gag character.

The channel added about 20,000 subscribers over the week, and daily viewing is above its usual pace. Among nearby animation channels, Vivziepop also has elevated daily viewing, while TerminalMontage is having a quieter spell.

There is life beyond the Saiyan-and-Saitama conversation, too. "Shadow VS Mewtwo (Sonic VS Pokémon) | DEATH BATTLE!" remains the channel's second-busiest upload by daily views. SouljenX7's animation and a battle score performed by Brandon Yates and Johnny Gioeli give that older matchup its own distinct production identity.
