Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Can Frank drive across GTA 5 with Chaos Mod (VOD)

A drive across GTA 5 sounds simple enough until Chaos Mod enters the picture. “Can Frank drive across GTA 5 with Chaos Mod (VOD)” drew the biggest audience of DougDougDougDoug’s four new uploads, reaching about 20,000 views, only narrowly above the Moon-themed archive posted the day before.

The comments supply a wonderfully specific talking point: one viewer singles out a news-helicopter camera angle as Frank’s route is blocked by a whale, saying the timing looked like an editor’s work. Others discuss premature victory music, the occasional Ace Combat soundtrack and whether the stream deserves a main-channel edit. This is DougDoug’s stream-archive home, so the uploads preserve earlier broadcasts rather than mark new live outings.

The newest arrival, “NES Games, but if I die I go to the next game (VOD),” is currently attracting the most daily views. Its rule makes each death a change of game, while “holy crap Louis he’s playing mario maker again (VOD)” offers a return to Nintendo’s level-building playground.

The channel added 1,000 subscribers over the week, with daily viewing modestly above its usual pace. Nearby archive channels Ludwig VODs and PointCrow VODS are having slower-than-usual viewing days; DougDougDougDoug’s fresh batch gives its own shelf plenty of activity.

What viewers say

The news helicopter cam right when Frank's path was blocked by a whale was so perfect. For a second I forgot I was watching a VOD and thought an editor did that. But I guess the game itself just thought it was being real funny. "What do you even want me to say to this?" indeed. Though I'm a little concerned about "This is you in 10 years". WHAT DOES IT KNOW THAT I DON'T?
