Elise Ecklund's mock music grievance gives viewers a comedy cue

Her only new upload, "This makes me mad," has drawn about 240,000 views and a string of imaginary royalty complaints.

This makes me mad

Why should the people who actually made a song get all the money? That is the deliberately backward logic viewers are playing with under Elise Ecklund's "This makes me mad," her only new upload of the week. The response reads as a continuation of the comedy, not a genuine dispute over music payments.

Viewers invent their own versions of being denied credit for work they had nothing to do with. One extends the premise to saving the planet from an asteroid; another turns it into a Weeknd-style wordplay opportunity. Others solemnly suggest that a penny would be appropriate compensation. The joke gives them a role to play rather than just a punchline to acknowledge.

Meanwhile, "the song EVERYONE knows from the first word!" has passed 16 million views. The recognition prompt from just outside this week's upload window remains her busiest video by daily views, with "Growing Up Ugly" also continuing to draw attention.

Elise added subscribers over the week, although the channel's daily viewing is currently well below its usual pace. Nearby, Trevor Wallace and Fire Department Chronicles are having busier-than-usual days, while Daniel Thrasher and Vlog Creations are quieter. For Elise, the new-release shelf belongs to a mock grievance, while the song prompt supplies the larger viewing momentum.
