Adding Weird Ingredients to Concrete

Posted almost a year ago, "Can We Preserve a Pumpkin with FIRE & RESIN?" is pulling its weight again. October has only just begun, and Evan and Katelyn's experiment fits the season. They built a carbonizer, tested it on a squash first, then charred a carved pumpkin and sealed it in resin. The description admits they had serious doubts it would work, and mentions some chaos behind a rain scene.

Nothing new went up this week, so the library carries the channel. The busiest video right now is three weeks old. "Adding Weird Ingredients to Concrete" works through DIY aircrete, magnetic concrete, glowing concrete and a mix the chapters call the "everything" concrete, and it has passed a million views. Close behind is the keyboard collaboration with Safiya Nygaard, where the four of them turned AI-generated fantasy keyboards into real ones made of ice, sponge and water. Safiya came to the project from her own long run of curious experiments, which made her a natural partner for a couple who describe their channel as resin, woodworking and "totally unnecessary but fun stuff."

With no new upload to lift them, daily views sit a little under their usual level. Most of the DIY channels nearest Evan and Katelyn in size are running below their own norms too. Matthias Wandel is the exception: his workshop is drawing about three times its usual daily views.
