Selection questions replaced match action at the center of Fox League's week. Kevin Walters's Kangaroos announcement was its most watched new upload, reaching about 160,000 views as Australia named six World Cup debutants and welcomed Latrell Mitchell back into green and gold.

Under the press conference, viewers kept asking about Selwyn Cobbo's omission, with Fletcher Sharpe and other alternatives entering the discussion. There was a more practical request, too: make the reporters' questions audible. A squad announcement is rather harder to follow when you can hear only half the exchange.

The international focus extended to Samoa's squad, featuring five NRL grand finalists. Elsewhere in the thirteen-upload week, NRL 360 debated Marky Mark's impact on the competition and whether Kalyn Ponga's high shot on Victor Radley warranted a sin-bin. The Roosters supplied a lighter interlude with an SCG celebration of their NRL and NRLW premierships, coach dancing included.

Fox League added roughly 1.8 million views across its library and a modest increase in subscribers. That weekly viewing total was close to rugby compilation channel Andrew Forde's, while Niklaus Prosper and VOLEYBOLCU EVRENİ had larger viewing weeks. Fox League's daily viewing has since eased well below its usual pace.

Its strongest daily draw is now a newer Kangaroos preparation video featuring Cameron Murray, James Tedesco and Mitchell, with the fullback question in the title. Paul Gallen and Nelson Asofa-Solomona's press-conference back-and-forth is also drawing viewers, but Australia's choice at No. 1 gives the World Cup coverage another specific talking point.
