Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

THE PORTUGAL MAJOR! 🇵🇹 (Crazy Ending!)

GOLF LIFE went back to Portugal for its own small tournament, and the description sets up the stakes plainly: Jimmy Bullard took the honors last year, so who takes it this time? Tubes, the former Soccer AM regular who runs the channel, and Ange make up the rest of the field. The title promises a crazy ending, and the comment section suggests it delivered.

The two moments viewers keep returning to come from opposite ends of the round. Around the 28-minute mark, someone puts a buggy in reverse just as Jimmy starts his backswing. It is the kind of mischief the channel trades on, and plenty of viewers are still laughing about it. Then, near the finish, Tubes plays a greenside bunker shot out of wet sand that several people call the best of the trip. One viewer singles out how much his game has improved over the past year. Much of the rest of the thread is about the group itself, with long debates over Jimmy's on-course temper and whether the full 18 holes should get the video treatment.

This was the only upload of the week, and it did the heavy lifting. It opened with about 125,000 views on its first day. Behind it, two older Bullard episodes are still ticking along: a team match against comedian Rob Beckett's side and a scratch match with Ian Poulter at Woburn.

Overall, the channel ran a touch below its usual daily pace, and the subscriber count held steady just under 400,000. Among nearby sports channels, H.I.T GOLF had a much bigger week than usual, and TNT Sports Cycling remained the busiest of the lot.

Tubes was proper stiched up by the rake, but the banter from the eigth onwards was absolute class. I'd say a Top 3 Golf life episode.

Tubes, the content is mint. I laughed from start to finish and standard of golf is quality. I was on tenterhooks towards the end, so god knows how you lot must’ve felt. The world needs more of this. Keep going lad
