She Survived the Camp Mystic Flood… Here's What God Revealed to Her

Every girl in her cabin survived. London Smith, the 19-year-old Camp Mystic counselor, tells Heaven Meets Earth how she held frightened campers close as floodwaters rose, praying for the water to stop and singing "Good Good Father."

The survival of her cabin sits beside the loss elsewhere at the camp. As divers and helicopters arrived, Smith began to understand that other girls were missing. Her conversation with host Abigail Robertson follows both that responsibility and her belief that God had been preparing her for the night long before the storm. She describes feeling His presence during the disaster and explains why her faith remains unshaken.

"She Survived the Camp Mystic Flood… Here's What God Revealed to Her" was the CBN podcast's only new upload this week. It has drawn about 23,000 views and is currently the channel's most active video, attracting roughly three times the daily views of Rod Parker's earlier interview. Parker recounts surviving a stabbing and an encounter with Jesus; author and radio host Susie Larson's conversation about spiritual dreams also continues to draw viewers.

The channel added about a thousand subscribers over the week. Its current daily views are more than twice their usual level, though that describes today's activity rather than the whole week. Among the larger faith channels nearby, CBN's main channel is also having an above-usual viewing day. Here, the new conversation keeps the focus on Smith's experience of caring for her campers and finding faith amid grief.
