Gala clothes, rooftop intrigue: High Rollers investigates the Ossean Ball
Altheya's latest installment follows a strange plot at the ball, with Xantheus conspicuously excluded from the description's investigating heroes.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Mystery of the Illusory | Altheya: The Dragon Empire #121
The ball gets complicated. High Rollers DnD's only new upload, "Mystery of the Illusory | Altheya: The Dragon Empire #121", picks up the intrigue at the Ossean Ball and has reached about 15,000 views.
The previous episode introduced Kelscarris's grand diplomatic gathering, complete with powerful guests, exotic delicacies and secrets from the land of undeath. Now the heroes investigate a strange plot, though the description makes a pointed exception for Xantheus. A formal invitation was evidently not a guarantee of a straightforward evening.
Viewers are keeping the party's wardrobe in mind as the adventure unfolds. Several describe the mental picture of Ophelia running across rooftops in her illusory-blood dress, while Gruff remains dressed for the gala in a tuxedo. Elsewhere in the replies, the snail bit inspires animation requests, and the mystery prompts invite discussion of clues the characters haven't picked up. There is also some proper tabletop homework: viewers are debating how Suggestion interacts with the Charmed condition.
The new episode is the channel's busiest video for daily views, followed by "The Ossean Ball | Altheya: The Dragon Empire #120" and the earlier Hatchball fixture, "Ascension Alleycats vs Frosthill Foxes | Altheya: The Dragon Empire #119". Sports, diplomacy, detective work: Altheya has covered quite a bit of ground in successive installments.
Subscribers held steady, while the channel added roughly 71,000 views over the week. That puts its weekly viewing close to OVAS among nearby anime, comics and tabletop channels; karu had a much larger viewing week. For High Rollers, the most active corner of the catalog is the ball and its increasingly tangled aftermath.

IMPORTANT: remember that they are doing everything in their gala outfits, so Ophelia is running on roofs and fighting in a dress made of illusory blood, and lionman Gruff has his tuxedo :)
@DrugLagoonSee it on YouTubeTwo things are currently known to make Xantheus shut up:
1) Magically compelling him to remain silent.
2) Eating too many hotdogs.@GormathiusSee it on YouTubeThe snail bit needs to be animated.

As a mystery lover, I am adoring all the prompts Mara is giving then. Also as a mystery lover, it pains me when the characters don't pick up on them. HOWEVER, it does make for very interesting results!
