They Never Wanted You To Play This Faction In Empire Total War (So I Did)

What is there to catch up on at iSorrow? No new uploads arrived, but the second channel's Total War experiments offer a fairly specific menu: an awkward faction, deliberately questionable army tactics and a once-secret nation.

"They Never Wanted You To Play This Faction In Empire Total War (So I Did)" is drawing the largest daily audience of the channel's currently active videos. Its description frames the challenge as playing a faction that repeatedly crashes the game. The title doesn't name that faction, so the attraction here is the experiment itself: trying something the game wasn't built to accommodate comfortably.

Then there's "You Were Never Supposed To Play Empire Total War Like This," which has passed 350,000 views. iSorrow describes abandoning the intended approach in favor of running at opponents with pointy sticks. In a game set around eighteenth-century imperial warfare, that's a pointed departure from the gunpowder brief. The creator says it went surprisingly well, with a less cheerful qualification for the army's front line.

The channel collected about 144,000 views over the week, while subscribers stayed unchanged. Its daily viewing is currently below its usual level. Nearby in subscriber size, UrbanLoon had a substantially busier week and added subscribers, while Volound's weekly viewing was quieter.

For a different campaign flavor, "The Best Total War Campaign You Haven't Played" remains active too: iSorrow tries the Romano British in Rome Total War Remastered, trading Empire's troublesome experiments for a nation the description calls once secret.
