Holographic statues and dragon bodies in Prehistoric East's scenery pack
The East Asia expansion for Frontier's park builder arrived about ten days ago with five new family units, and its scenery showcase is now the channel's busiest video.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Jurassic World Evolution 3: Prehistoric East - Scenery
No new trailers. Jurassic World Evolution 3's official channel spent the week living off the launch of Prehistoric East, the expansion that takes the park-building game to East Asia.
The video getting the most attention right now is not the launch trailer but its quieter companion, a nine-day-old look at the pack's scenery. The description promises builds that "turn guest heads (and dragon bodies)", a nod to the region's imagery, and the launch material lists holographic statues and five new family units among the additions. Family units suit this game well: Jurassic World Evolution 3 is the first in the series to raise juvenile dinosaurs, so a pack built around groups of animals has an obvious place in it.
The launch trailer went up twice, in two versions, and the busier of the pair has passed 88,000 views. Both have slowed down since release week, and the channel as a whole is running well below its usual pace, with its subscriber count holding at 350,000. A post-launch lull like this is normal for a game channel between announcements.
Among the game publisher channels nearest its size, the busy one is 100 Thieves Valorant, which gathered far more views than anyone else in the group. StarCraft and Fortnite Competitive also had fuller weeks, while Hogwarts Legacy and EA SPORTS F1 sat on smaller totals than the dinosaurs.
