Tesla juice and an oyster expand Kyle Krueger's curiosity cabinet

Two new experiments range from a branded drink taste test to a search for a real pearl.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I Tried Tesla's LIGHTNING JUICE! ⚡️I Tried Tesla's LIGHTNING JUICE! ⚡️

Kyle Krueger's gadget corner has room for an oyster. His two uploads took very different routes through the business of buying something unusual and finding out what it holds.

"I Tried Tesla's LIGHTNING JUICE! ⚡️" was the week's most-watched new release, reaching about 2.8 million views. The comments add a useful wrinkle to that juice label: viewers are discussing the alcohol marking on the bottle, as well as Kyle's growing collection of Tesla-branded objects. One reader neatly catalogs the eclectic assortment of products that have passed through his room, from fried-chicken ice cream to an Iron Man robot.

Then came "I Bought an Oyster to Find a REAL PEARL!" It had a smaller opening day than the Tesla taste test, but it is now drawing more than twice as many daily views. The hunt inside a shell has become the channel's busiest upload right now.

Across the channel, daily viewing is close to its usual level, while the subscriber total grew by about 20,000 over the week. Among nearby gadget channels, Phone Repair Guru had a particularly large weekly viewing total; iJustine is enjoying a busier-than-usual day, while JerryRigEverything is quieter.

Kyle's older experiments have not disappeared beneath the new purchases, either. "I Dropped a Tungsten Cube on Everything," posted more than a month ago, remains his third-busiest video by daily views. An oyster, a drink and an unusually heavy cube make quite a shopping basket.
