Anybody wanna claim him? 🤦🏼‍♀️

The caller ID says "County Jail," and Lainey Wilson answers from the couch. On speaker, her partner Duck Hodges tells her he shot a deer from his truck and needs her to come get him.

This is a comedy sketch built around a prank, not an account of an arrest. Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, is considerably closer to home than his phone call suggests.

Wilson initially brushes him off, but he keeps insisting. Eventually she picks up her keys and heads outside. "Alright, I'll see you in a minute," she says. Her song "4x4xU" plays as she climbs into the truck, where Hodges suddenly pops up from the back seat. "I gotcha!" he announces, laughing.

Posted as "Anybody wanna claim him? 🤦🏼‍♀️", the Short drew an estimated 170,000 views in its first day. That's nearly nine times the usual opening audience for Wilson's Shorts, though the comments arrived at about their normal pace.

Viewers are picking apart the setup: some notice that County Jail is already saved as a contact, while another asks whether they at least got to keep the deer. Others imagine Wilson returning the favor.

The joke lands alongside the release of "Lainey Wilson - Kinda Love It (Official Music Video)." But here, the soundtrack is "4x4xU," and the truck becomes the hiding place for a partner she was supposedly driving to rescue.
