Half a billion views for Mat Armstrong MK2
The channel crosses the milestone as its Bugatti return passes ten million views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
BUGATTI WANT MY VEYRONS BACK
Mat Armstrong's second channel has crossed half a billion views, with a factory invitation providing much of this week's new viewing. Not a bad chapter for a project that began with a trip to Bugatti when nobody was there.
"BUGATTI WANT MY VEYRONS BACK" was the only new upload. Armstrong's description explains that Bugatti called after that unsuccessful visit and invited him back with both cars, although one had developed an issue. The video has since passed ten million views and remains comfortably the channel's busiest upload right now.
The comments offer two rather different kinds of car enthusiasm. Some viewers are picking out Andy Wallace, the Le Mans-winning driver and longtime Bugatti test driver. Others are deep in the workshop details, discussing ultrasonic cleaning and recommending plastic picks for removing O-rings without scratching the surfaces beneath them. Factory access is interesting; apparently, so is the correct tool for a small rubber seal.
Across MK2, daily viewing is running above its usual level, and the subscriber count grew substantially over the week. Among the nearby motoring channels, Forrest's Auto Reviews also had a large weekly audience, while Tavarish had a quieter spell.
The new Bugatti visit isn't the only project keeping the shelf active. Armstrong's staged Ferrari launch escapade remains the next-busiest upload, followed by "REVEALING THE WRECKED CHIRON TO IT'S OWNER," whose rebuild description turns on a considerably less glamorous problem than factory invitations: finding a windscreen.

What viewers say
To be fair, if you're going to be a passenger, I don't think you'll find many drivers with a better pedigree than Andy Wallace
@philthewriterSee it on YouTubeIts crazy how a 20 year old car doesn't look dated at all.
@eyecandy-gamingSee it on YouTubeWhat a turn of events. One car that wouldn't go in reverse, then one that only goes in reverse 😂

This is my first-ever YouTube nitpick, but as a former aircraft mechanic, I'd recommend using a mineral solvent in your ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning metal filters.
@MrHiBetaSee it on YouTubeMat. Just an observation, brother. When you're removing O-Rings, especially ones that sit against a metal surface, it is preferred to use a plastic pick to not scratch or damage the surface the O-Ring will be sitting against. You'd be surprised how little scratches can cause leaks.
