Max Velocity turns from tropical systems to an autumn cold front

Eight uploads span inland storm threats, falling temperatures and the possibility of an early taste of winter.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

How quickly does the forecast change from tropical trouble to frost? Max Velocity's upload slate made that turn within days, moving from multiple tropical systems toward a cold front and possible snow.

Monday's "A MASSIVE Storm Is Coming..." was the week's most-watched new upload, passing a million views. Its forecast followed the remnants of Isaias inland, Rachel's approach near California and possible indirect effects from offshore Simon, with tornado and flooding threats central to the discussion.

By Wednesday, "A DANGEROUS Storm Is Rapidly Developing..." was looking at a broader pattern change. Max outlined the potential for damaging winds and heavy rain, followed by sharply colder air, frost, freezing conditions and snow in some areas. These were forecast possibilities, not a promise that every location would get its first winter weather.

The channel added more than twelve million views over seven days, the largest weekly gain among its nearby science-channel peers. Subscribers grew too, while daily viewing was modestly above its usual level. Reed Timmer also added subscribers; VideoFromSpace was experiencing a much sharper surge in daily viewing.

The freshest uploads now account for the strongest momentum. "Something CRAZY Is About To Happen..." is drawing the most daily views, followed by "What Happens Next Will Surprise Everyone..." and Friday's "Nobody Is Ready For What Comes Next..." Monday's tropical forecast supplied the week's biggest total, but the attention has already moved to Max's next updates.
