Two test drives, no sales at More High Peak

Matt prepares a Nissan Qashqai and Skoda Citigo for buyers, while a BMW trade-in brings a fresh inspection question.

Matt got the cars cleaned, prepared and moved to the front of the forecourt. The blue Nissan Qashqai and silver Skoda Citigo both went out for test drives. Neither customer bought one.

That everyday dealership frustration supplied More High Peak's most watched upload of the week, "What's Wrong With These Cars? BOTH Customers Walked Away!", with about 135,000 views. This is the extra-footage side of High Peak Autos, where getting stock ready and dealing with uncertain buyers are as much the subject as the cars themselves.

The comments became a conversation about what makes someone hesitate. Price came up repeatedly, alongside a buyer's preference for seeing a car before its engine has been warmed up. Others discussed presentation and the perfectly ordinary possibility that customers want to inspect more than one car before committing. None of that establishes why these particular buyers walked away, but it gives Matt's question several practical angles.

His newest upload turns the uncertainty around: now the dealer is wondering what he has bought. In "A Customer Traded In This BMW… Now I'm Worried", a Vauxhall Astra sale brings a blue BMW 1 Series in part exchange, before Matt has properly checked it over. The inspection and valuation question drew roughly 69,000 views in its first eleven hours, and it is currently the channel's most active upload.

Three uploads brought the channel through a week with an unchanged subscriber count and daily viewing a little below its usual level. Among nearby motoring channels, Wheelie Yellow had a particularly busy week, while Lucas Ravizza was quieter. More High Peak's own week stayed firmly on the forecourt: preparing cars, weighing up stock and discovering that a test drive is not a sale.
