Three missing sisters send Mystery Quest into Fatherfog's fairytale horror
Ben, Boba, Dan and Lydia join the new adventure from the publisher behind Mothership.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Fatherfog | Three Sisters of the Glass Mountain #1
The village has almost given up searching. Three sisters have vanished, fog surrounds the community, and people who venture into it seldom return unchanged. That is the invitation in "Fatherfog | Three Sisters of the Glass Mountain #1," Mystery Quest's sole new upload this week.
The channel's rotating tabletop cast is trying Fatherfog, the fairytale horror system from Tuesday Knight Games. With Tom, Ben, Boba, Dan and Lydia in the mix, the sinister premise also has plenty of room for character comedy. Viewers are discussing Dan's changing costumes and voices, Lydia's theatrical commitment and Ben's character apparently favoring force over knocking at a locked door.
One commenter offers a particularly sweet account: they put the episode on while painting their house with their wife, who normally has little interest in games. By the end, she was interested in playing together. A fogbound rescue mission makes an unlikely introduction to a shared hobby.
The opener has reached about 46,000 views and is the channel's most active upload right now. Behind it, "13 Omens #1" and "13 Omens #4" keep the previous adventure in circulation, from a vineyard inheritance to an ancestral demonic bargain.
Mystery Quest added about 1,000 subscribers over the week, although daily viewing is currently well below its usual level. Nearby in tabletop, Battle Report - Games Night and High Rollers DnD are both seeing above-usual daily viewing. For Mystery Quest, the strongest activity is concentrated in its new journey into the mist.

I put this video on for my wife and I as we paint our house today. She's not interested in games at all normally but she was sad when the episode ended and said she would be interested in playing a game with me. Thank you all for being amazing!

Y'all locked Dan in the studio & I'm not mad at it. He's so good & THIS LOOK? Obsessed. Also, love to see Ben.
@m00nrac00nSee it on YouTubeThis party is amazing, could see this as a movie. The dynamic is so good. The old witch wayfarer, the distrustful farmer with a big heart, the elder, stoic teacher and the missing woman’s estranged wife willing to risk it all. Now I need the novel!
@Robofussin23See it on YouTubeI love how Ben's immediate response to a locked door isn't to knock, but just ram it off the hinges.
@InkandCorrosionSee it on YouTubeBoba's finger joke went completely unnoticed but it got a cheeky grin out of me
