Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Doing Chores with a Velcro Dog 🙄

Can you get the chores done with a dog attached to your every move? The Pet Collective's "Doing Chores with a Velcro Dog 🙄" makes that everyday negotiation its premise. Credited to Kaeleigh T., the German shorthaired pointer clip is currently drawing views faster than any other upload in the channel's most active selection.

Another dog has a broader interpretation of belonging. "My Neighbors Dog Keeps Sneaking Into My House..." features a visitor who, as the description puts it, seems to consider the neighboring home his own. Alongside the grizzly encounter posted the same day, it gives the week's momentum a mix of domestic boundary-crossing and actual wildlife.

The most-watched new upload, though, remains "Beaver Blocks Highway Traffic While Hauling Massive Branch," now approaching 118,000 views. A pickup waits while the beaver hauls its leafy load across the lanes. Viewers have turned the crossing into a construction-site comedy, with engineering jokes, work-delay excuses and the inevitable branch-manager pun.

Across fifteen uploads, the week also brought a pasta-eating hamster and farm compilations featuring blow-dried cows and spitting llamas. The catalog added more than ten million views, while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is currently a little below the channel's usual level.

That weekly view gain puts The Pet Collective third among its nearby animal-channel peers, with Natural Habitat Shorts having a particularly substantial week. Back on this channel, it's the dog determined to supervise the chores that is finding the quickest audience right now.
