Blood Pact gives Apex Legends' upload break an event focus
The October 13 event trailer shares the shelf with Street Fighter moves and Bloodhound's revamped hunt.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Apex Legends: Blood Pact Event Trailer
Apex Legends posted no new videos this week, but its Blood Pact event arrived with a trailer already on the shelf. The promotional upload offers a terse choice, beast or demon, and has reached roughly 171,000 views. It is bringing in the most daily views of any video on the official channel right now.
The previous crossover has not disappeared from view either. "Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event" brings Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma and Dhalsim's fighting styles into Wildcard, with Hadokens and Shoryukens crossing a remixed Olympus. This is the game's own event advertising, complete with character-inspired cosmetics, rather than a separate Street Fighter adventure.
Behind those two sits "Apex Legends: Marked Gameplay Trailer," whose focus is Bloodhound's improved tracking and new Ultimate, alongside changes to World's Edge and buffs for Loba and Rampart. Together, the active trailers offer three different flavors of Apex: monsters, martial arts and a more dangerous hunt.
The channel's daily viewing is below its usual pace, and its subscriber total slipped over the week. Nearby publisher channels had livelier stretches: VALORANT added subscribers, while World of Warcraft's daily viewing rose well above its norm. For Apex, the useful new point of reference is Blood Pact, an event whose trailer is doing the work without a fresh upload.
