Rako casts a gnome as a last-second rescuer

The animated gnome Short has an unusually fast start, while a reluctant dragon also passes a million views.

Why this story? The channel went from 317,000 to 419,000 subscribers this week.

About 100,000 subscribers joined Rako over seven days, expanding the animated-story channel by nearly a third. Its latest standout gives the rescue role to a gnome, rather than the dogs and monsters that populate its storytelling shelf.

The gnome Short, posted Friday, has reached roughly 2.8 million views. Its opening-day audience was several times larger than Rako's usual Shorts audience. Another Friday upload, about a dragon refusing to leave its egg, also crossed the million-view mark.

These are animated entertainment stories, not footage of real rescues. Rako says its tales are dramatized, with some inspired by real events and others invented from scratch. The channel describes making its own scripts, animation, voiceovers and sound.

Saturday also brought a longer Roblox-story compilation drawn from September's Shorts. Its chapter list puts a protective scarecrow, a friendly ghost and a guardian teddy bear alongside loyal dogs: on Rako, the frightening or unlikely figure can be the one that helps.
