Angry Birds stole my tier list!! And German spy chief under ARREST
Two episodes of John Kiriakou's Briefing Room went up, and they cover a lot of ground. Episode 25 opens with a meeting at Camp David and, as the description has it, 257 precision strikes in Yemen hours later, as a Saudi-backed offensive turns on the Houthis. From there Kiriakou moves to Brazil's presidential runoff, his "increasingly dangerous" world travel guide and leaked audio in the Texas Senate race. It became the most watched upload of the seven he posted.
Episode 26, out on Thursday, is moving even faster. Its main story is the arrest of Germany's former intelligence chief in a treason plot that, the description says, involves a steakhouse heiress, an Israeli spy firm and an attempted kidnapping. It ends on a lighter running gag: Kiriakou suspects the official Angry Birds channel of copying his tier list. A Short titled "Globally ranked btw" keeps the bird joke going, campaigning for an official Kiriakou bird.
Between the two came the third part of his ex-CIA Q&A, where the former officer, known for publicly confirming the agency's use of waterboarding in 2007, answers questions about his last mission, hiding his career from his family and whether aliens are real.
Views held right at the channel's usual pace, and about 13,000 new subscribers arrived. Among the political commentators nearest his size, Jeff Square is having the very big week, while British Stand and Raging Moderates are each running about twice their normal speed.
