Seashell enthusiasm ends abruptly. A golden dog bounds across wet sand, while Rufus Goodboy supplies an inner monologue about how much it loves finding shells. Unfortunately, this particular discovery has claws.

The crab gets a voice, too, briefly correcting the dog's identification before the startled animal jumps and slips on the sand. It's animal footage with added comic dialogue, not a talking-pet encounter, and the description credits ViralHog for the clip.

The Short has reached about 1.7 million views, with its estimated first-day audience roughly seventeen times the channel's usual start for Shorts. That makes this beach misunderstanding a substantial departure from its everyday pace.

Viewers are picking apart the tiny performance: the dog's twisting jump gets a gymnastics comparison, while the crab's French accent prompts references to Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. Others have invented their own category for the creature: a shell with rather more seasoning than expected.

Rufus Goodboy's voiceover leaves the dog with a firm conclusion: "I don't like seashells anymore."
