A short song isn't enough for some Rufus Goodboy viewers. Beneath the channel's goat shanty, the most-liked comment asks for a full version, while another proposes collecting all the animal shanties in one place.

The comedy voiceover, with footage credited to Amber Warren, drew an estimated 630,000 views in its first day, more than eight times the usual opening audience for the channel's Shorts. Rufus Goodboy already lists Cat Shanty among its signature animal sounds; this time, the musical treatment moves to the farm.

The comments divide their attention between the tune and its unlikely animal pairing. Viewers point out the goat's balance on a pony and the pony's apparently unbothered response. One describes tapping a water bottle along to the rhythm; another thinks the song belongs on an album.

Others ask for more farm-animal videos. For a channel whose voiceover cast includes German shepherds, otters and cats, the goat has supplied a very specific request: keep singing.
