Research took the spotlight. RyanImelDM's most watched new upload was part six of his blind Lorelei and the Laser Eyes playthrough, bringing a puzzle game to a channel devoted to making tabletop adventures work better.
Ryan calls the series R&D&D, short for Research & Dungeons & Dragons. The idea is to play with a designer's eye: looking for techniques that might travel from a video game into an encounter at the table. Simogo's atmospheric puzzle game makes a fitting subject for that exercise, with its interlocking mysteries and emphasis on taking notes. Part six reached about 1,200 views, the largest audience among the week's new uploads.
The rest of the schedule kept that research company with practical work. Daily Encounter streams returned to encounter design, while "I need to make a box | (it's not really about the) CRAFTING" supplied a hands-on change of subject. The October 12 encounter stream is currently the most active of the highlighted uploads, with Lorelei installments from different stages of the playthrough also picking up views.
Across the channel, weekly viewing came to roughly a quarter-million views, while the subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is a little above its usual level. For friendly tabletop context, Battle Report - Games Night had a substantial week and added subscribers; D&D Beyond had a quieter daily viewing pace than usual.
