Dinner has been a struggle lately, Hannah Neeleman writes in the description of "Meal Prep on the Farm." Her answer is a cooking day with her mother and friend Alethia, making enough variety that coming home tired doesn't have to mean starting dinner from scratch.
The menu stretches well beyond a single batch of something: bread and focaccia, dolmades, beef roast, roasted vegetables, steak salads in jars, protein bars and chia pudding with roasted rhubarb. Hannah adds a modest qualification to the well-stocked-fridge plan: it should last a few days, at least. The upload has reached roughly 393,000 views and is among Ballerina Farm's busiest videos right now.
Nothing new arrived this week, but the channel added about 3.2 million views while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is currently a little below its usual pace. Among nearby food channels, Chef Nick and Sam Shan Shops had substantially larger weekly view gains; Ballerina Farm's was close to foodiechina888's.
"Gouda cheese 🌞," the focus of our previous note, remains the strongest daily draw. There is something sweeter alongside it now: "Blueberry and lemon curd cake." has passed a million views. Hannah credits baker Nicola Lamb's version as the inspiration and describes her own attempt as a labor of love, with a result she'd make again.
