The St. Paul vintage-tech channel posted nothing new, and a desk-clock hack from early this year is past 437,000 views.

I turned a CLOCK into a vintage Mac!
This Does Not Compute took the week off from uploading, so the back shelf did the talking, and the video doing the most of it is a joke that got out of hand. In "I turned a CLOCK into a vintage Mac!" the channel takes the Maclock, a desk toy shaped like an old compact Macintosh, and makes it actually run like one. The chapters tell the arc: a small computer for brains, an emulator that does not cooperate at first, some hacking, and a 3D-printed fix before the thing is declared just plain fun. Eight months on, it is past 437,000 views.
Right behind it sits an iBook story. "I restored Apple's AWFUL but awesome 90s laptop" follows a donated clamshell iBook, then a second broken one bought to help, through a repair the chapters admit is indeed that difficult. Jeff Geerling lent footage of Apple's AirPort Base Station for the part about the iBook's early built-in wireless, and the description cites a 1999 newspaper headline comparing the laptop to a toilet seat.
The third steady video asks whether a beige Power Mac-era box was really Apple's worst computer, with old MacWEEK and InfoWorld clippings from Apple's rough mid-90s.
Without anything new, the channel is moving at a little over half its usual daily pace, and subscribers held at about 474,000. Most of the tech review channels around it are running slower than normal too, with Zack Shutt by far the busiest of the group.
