The bread is getting questions about its color as well as its shape. Turkuaz Kitchen's pumpkin-shaped sourdough has drawn roughly 650,000 views since Friday, making it the week's most-watched new upload and the channel's busiest video right now. One viewer wonders how to make the outer dough orange rather than pink or red; others focus on the craftsmanship and intentional simplicity.
It was a three-upload week with plenty beyond the bread basket. "Chocolate Hazelnut Upside Down Cheesecake #food" supplied the dessert, while "Soup Season! (Green Couscous Soup & French Onion Soup)" offered two distinctly substantial ways to warm up dinner.
For the green soup, the creator combines couscous with fresh herbs and serves it with grilled cheese on whole wheat bread. The French onion version gets shredded beef, a bread bowl and torched cheese on top. That is quite a departure from treating soup as a light first course.
Across the channel, daily views are running at nearly twice their usual level, although the subscriber count stayed unchanged over the week. Among similarly sized food channels, Mythical Kitchen had a much larger viewing week and added subscribers, while Food Wishes was closer to its usual daily viewing rhythm.
The sourdough carries most of Turkuaz Kitchen's current momentum, followed by the cheesecake. And the earlier fall-baking chapter hasn't disappeared: "Tiramisu Cinnamon Rolls, the perfect treat to kick off fall baking 🍁 #food" is approaching a million views and remains among the channel's busiest uploads.
