Vinny - Ashley goes Ballistic #residentevil

Vinesauce: Twitch Clips is the channel that cuts Vinny's streams down to their best minutes, and its best minute this week came from a corrupted copy of Resident Evil 4. "Vinny - Ashley goes Ballistic #residentevil" is lifted from a Corruption Stockpile session of Wii games, where Vinny scrambles a game's memory and lets the glitches write the comedy. Here the scrambling seems to have written a sketch: Ashley, the president's daughter Leon is sent to rescue, turns into something closer to a bomb.

The comment section reads like a shot-by-shot review. Many viewers fixate on Leon taking a board to the face without blinking, others on the muffled thunk of Luis tossing something his way, and plenty more on the house itself, which puffs out from the blast and snaps back together in an instant. A few try to work out how a corruption could land with such neat timing, and one notes that corruptions are slowly turning into skits. It passed 80,000 views, the most of the channel's eleven uploads.

The rest of the week wandered widely. There was a Looney Tunes moment from a Sven Co-op session shared with Jerma, Pokelawls and friends, a pregnant dad from Commercial Chaos, and a Happy Wheels clip titled "Its 2011 again" that keeps picking up speed. The two newest, a Tomodachi Life outbreak called "The Moglin Contagion" and a lisping "Siwent Hewe" from another Corruption Stockpile, are moving fastest right now.

Views ran a little under the channel's usual pace, and the subscriber count held where it was. Among similar stream-clip channels, DougDoug Clips and Scotty had the busiest weeks, while TBJZLClips ran well above its normal day.

Leon's lack of a reaction to being hit by a 2×4 plank is so good.

Aslo wow, Ashley taking the phrase "exploding with anger" and giving it a whole new meaning.

I absolutely love the cartoonish way the house jumps after the explosion.

This is still by far the funniest clip to me ever.

So it was an actual ballistics, huh.

I think I know how they did this
They use the corruptor recovery thingy on different sections of the game. One with a far camera, one with the counter, so it ended up combining different parts of the game state. Interesting!
