Jonas, Matas, Domantas. IShowSpeed keeps asking people their names, and a joke from an earlier video chat starts sounding surprisingly convincing.
Viper33Edits' Short begins on OmeTV, where a Lithuanian user tells Speed and KSI that every male name in his country ends in "-as." He supplies examples, the pair laugh, and the edit jumps forward several months to Speed in Lithuania with a question to investigate.
"Alright, I want to test if this theory is true," he says. What follows is less a language lesson than a very enthusiastic round of introductions, moving from a group of fans to an outdoor running track. Tomas and Lukas fit the pattern. Edgar and Albert don't. The sweeping claim is already wobbling, whatever the edit's title promises.
The clips channel, which is independent of IShowSpeed, has picked up roughly 25,000 views on the upload in a day, around eleven times this video's usual daily pace. That's a sharp change after its modest opening day.
It isn't the channel's only accelerating edit. A separate upload about Speed recreating a scene from The Karate Kid added about 700,000 views over the same period, giving Viper33Edits a much larger burst alongside its Lithuanian introductions.
