Six Flags reopens after 42‑year‑old father ejected, killed
11Alive's report on Six Flags Over Georgia reopening drew the largest audience among its new uploads, following the death of a father ejected from the park's Goliath roller coaster. The report reached roughly 16,000 views in its first five hours.
The station's week stretched across several kinds of consequential Georgia news. A live broadcast carried President Trump's rally at Dalton Municipal Airport in support of Republican nominees Mike Collins and Rick Jackson, with a separate report summarizing his endorsements and appeal to voters. In South Fulton, the focus was closer to home: demolition at Camelot Condominiums was forcing residents to relocate, with limited city assistance, according to the station's description.
Across the channel, the week's viewing totaled about nine million views. Subscribers held steady, while the current daily viewing pace was roughly a third below its usual level. Among nearby-sized local news channels, ABC7 and KTLA 5 had larger weekly view gains; FOX 11 Los Angeles added subscribers and was drawing a busier-than-usual daily audience.
For 11Alive, the regular metro Atlanta news service continued alongside those individual reports, with an "Evening News on 11Alive" broadcast bringing breaking news and weather into the week's upload mix.
