Emergency responders are attending to a woman in the crowd when Vice President J.D. Vance asks the room to give them space to work. His campaign speech in North Platte, Nebraska, has stopped.

"We'll all just stay calm and let these great doctors and law enforcement do their jobs," he says in the recording posted by KTVU FOX 2 San Francisco.

The interruption begins when Vance notices a disturbance in the audience and calls for medical staff, then asks his team to bring a doctor. Much of the footage that follows is waiting: Vance remains near the lectern while responders and people in the crowd attend to the woman.

He later invites those who wish to pray to join him in the Lord's Prayer. After asking how the woman is doing, he steps down from the stage and enters the audience area, standing alongside responders near her.

KTVU's upload drew an estimated 67,000 views in its first day, roughly eleven times the channel's usual start for regular videos. The recording continues through Vance's visit into the crowd before an anchor closes the live coverage.
