Everest, Slough House and Texas arrive on Apple Australia's slate

Four trailers bring Genden Phuntsok's Tenzing Norgay, Gary Oldman's Jackson Lamb and a fictionalized McConaughey-Harrelson family mystery to the channel.

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson supplied the quickest opening, but the mountain story gathered the largest audience. Apple Australia posted four trailers, all on October 7, with "Tenzing — Official Trailer | Apple TV" reaching nearly 11,000 views after a comparatively small first day.

Jennifer Peedom's film centers on Tenzing Norgay, played by Genden Phuntsok, and his Everest ascent with Edmund Hillary, played by Tom Hiddleston. Its description puts belonging on the expedition team, rather than simply serving it, at the heart of Tenzing's story. Thinley Lhamo, Caitríona Balfe and Willem Dafoe also feature. The announced streaming date is October 16.

"Brothers — Official Trailer | Apple TV" had the strongest first-day audience. This is a scripted comedy, with McConaughey and Harrelson playing fictionalized versions of themselves whose friendship is unsettled by the possibility that they are brothers. Holland Taylor plays Ma Mac, whose revelation disrupts a family stay at Matthew's Texas ranch.

The channel added about 39,000 views across its library, while subscribers stayed unchanged. That was a more modest viewing week than nearby AWS Events or Amazon Alexa, though a busier one than Apple Canada.

The strongest daily momentum now belongs to "Slow Horses — Season 6 Official Trailer | Apple TV", returning to Gary Oldman's abrasive Jackson Lamb and Slough House's dysfunctional MI5 team. Tenzing follows, with "Nocturne — Official Trailer | Apple TV" rounding out the busiest viewing shelf: a fictional crime thriller starring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz and Stephen Graham, announced for October 30.
