Rain in Denver and snow across Colorado are back in the forecast, after a weekend of unseasonable warmth. Joe Ruch's "Rain and snow expected across Colorado by the middle of the week" drew nearly as many views in its first three hours as CBS Colorado's most watched new upload had gathered in a little over a day.

That larger upload, "Beneficial moisture in Western Colorado, chasing temperatures records in Denver", follows Ruch's tracking of a record stretch of warm Denver days. It also carries the channel's strongest daily momentum. Beneath it, viewers bring the forecast down to yard level: one mentions their struggling lawn, while another wants the forecast location stated at the outset. Callie Zanandrie's weekend forecast adds another perspective on the warmth before the cooler weather arrives.

Weather wasn't the only forward-looking story among the station's 15 uploads. Aurora broke ground on a new school for students pursuing healthcare careers, described by the station as Colorado's first Health Sciences High School.

Across its library, CBS Colorado added about 2.6 million views over the week, a substantial total among nearby local-news channels, with WKRN News 2 posting a similarly large weekly gain. CBS Colorado's subscribers remained unchanged, and its daily viewing was close to its usual pace. On its own upload shelf, the warm Sunday forecast remains another active draw, even as Ruch's new update turns attention toward rain and snow.
