"It's like 20 bucks," he says. She answers "Nope," takes the watch back and heads out. He wishes her a good day. No repair follows, just a small everyday disagreement about the price of one.

That short exchange drew roughly 670,000 views in its first nine hours, already far beyond the channel's usual full-day audience for a Short. The comments were even more unusual: more than twenty times the usual first-day total before the day was complete.

Viewers discuss whether the charge should cover only the battery or also the worker's time, with some recalling battery replacements at other stores.
