What gets more attention than a football play sheet left on a bar? On Ev Hand's channel, a story about LeBron James's commute. His upload describing private-helicopter trips between New York City and Philadelphia reached roughly 451,000 views, the largest audience among the week's new videos.
The description makes the cost its hook, although the comments wander into operating expenses, aircraft maintenance and questions about who pays. Those questions are viewers' speculation, not an explanation of the arrangement.
College football supplied plenty of other material across nine uploads. Ev described a Texas Tech fan finding a Colorado play sheet at the Buffaloes' hotel, while another video focused on a Tuscaloosa Motel 6's unusually expensive rooms. NFL posts examined penalty records and changes to fines for celebrations that imitate drinking beverages. It was a week of sports stories happening around the game as much as during it.
The channel added about two and a half million views, the largest weekly gain among its nearby American sports peers, despite having the smallest subscriber count in that group. Subscribers grew too, bringing Ev close to the 150,000 mark.
The strongest daily momentum belongs to his Arkansas fan-protest story, which describes a proposed field-storming campaign aimed at athletic director Hunter Yurachek. An older In-N-Out football-team photoshoot story remains active as it approaches a million views, with the LeBron commute upload drawing nearly as much daily viewing.
