Hurricane Isaias latest: Storm intensifies into Category 3
Scott Williams and Drew Anderson bring a local question to FOX 29 Philadelphia's hurricane coverage: what will Isaias mean for the region this weekend? Their “Hurricane Isaias latest: Storm intensifies into Category 3” reached about 10,000 views in eight hours, making it the most watched of the station's new uploads this week and its strongest source of current viewing momentum.
The station posted 15 videos across the week. Alongside the forecast were reports on the fatal police standoff on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Vice President JD Vance's midterm rally in Lima, Ohio. A different kind of Philadelphia gathering appeared overseas: Eagles supporters at Trafalgar Square for the NFL Experience before Sunday's game against Jacksonville. That London report is also among the channel's busiest videos right now.
FOX 29 added roughly 1,000 subscribers over the week, although daily views are currently well below their usual pace. Nearby CBS Philadelphia is also having a slower viewing day, while NBCLA had a substantially larger weekly audience gain. For FOX 29, the week's biggest new upload is the forecast that connects a wider storm story to viewers' own weekend.
