Yoshinobu Yamamoto, three ways, and a hat tip from Chris Sale

Rob Friedman's postseason week ran to 15 uploads, and three of them belong to the Dodgers right-hander who shut down the Braves.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Is there anyone better than Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the postseason? Is there anyone better than Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the postseason?

Who gets the Pitching Ninja treatment when the postseason starts handing out big games? This time the answer came in triplicate: Yoshinobu Yamamoto, in three separate uploads on the same day.

Rob Friedman, the pitching analyst behind the channel, opened his "Filthiest Pitches from Yesterday" roundup with the Dodgers starter, then added Chris Sale, Nick Pivetta and Michael King further down the card. The comments under it went straight to Yamamoto's start against the Braves, and to a smaller moment many viewers say they missed live: Sale tipping his cap across the field. Several regulars admit they called it during the game, sure the outing would lead the next morning's breakdown. One sharp-eyed viewer points to how Yamamoto moves his glove in the delivery to hide his grip.

The two Shorts beside it, one asking whether anyone is better on a big stage and one simply admiring his mechanics, are close behind, and the three of them are the channel's busiest videos right now.

The rest of the week stayed in October. Didier Fuentes against Freddie Freeman, a strikeout the title calls brutal, came with a question about the new automated ball-strike challenge system. Mason Miller against Jackson Chourio got a slower breakdown, billed as proof that sometimes the hitter wins, and Drew Rasmussen's day against the Yankees came with a question about Aaron Judge's taunting.

The channel ran a little above its usual pace, close to 3.7 million views over the seven days, while the subscriber count held still. Among the American sports creators nearest its size, only BigBucketTony, having a very large week, drew more.
