Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

My musical sister @chinchilla_music !! Thank you for the reaction @knownasliya

"My musical sister" is Ren's affectionate billing for Chinchilla in the week's most-watched new upload, which also thanks @knownasliya for her reaction. It reached roughly 120,000 views, giving their vocal partnership another outing on a channel where "Ren X Chinchilla - Chalk Outlines (Live)" is already a much-watched fixture.

The comments keep returning to the blend of their voices. Some viewers describe this as a song they revisit repeatedly; others ask for more music from the pair. That is a particular kind of collaboration: listeners talking as much about the two voices together as either singer alone.

The other new upload, "Taking The Clash to the streets... #renmakesmusic #thebigpush #ukband #busking #live," brings Ren's band and busking world back into view. The title names the band being covered, though not the song. Between that and Chinchilla, both releases put shared music-making at the center.

Ren added subscribers over the week, alongside about 5.4 million views across the channel. Nearby in the singer-songwriter group, Jhené Aiko had a particularly busy viewing week, while Peter Hollens and doddleoddle had quieter totals.

Older uploads supply the strongest daily momentum: Ren's thank-you to reaction creators is the busiest, followed by his Ship Street memories with singer Sam Tompkins. Then comes the considerably less explanatory "I love my wok #wok," an offbeat neighbor to all that musical fellowship.
